Cushing’s Disease (CD) is a rare condition characterized by an overproduction of ACTH by an ACTH-secreting pituitary tumor, resulting in excess of cortisol release by the adrenal glands. Pasireotide is the pituitary-targeted drug approved to treat adult patients.
